Some fantastic sites to explore:

ilanguages - website run by Wendy Adeniji, Liz Black & Juliet Park - celebrates the opportunities posed by the new curriculum, has freebies to download and advice on transition as well as some innovative ideas for year 7 and key stage 3.
You can order a free sample cd of their new Year 7 course which promises 'to teach the usual in an unusual way' and there are a couple of examples to download direct from the site, including 'chocolate', 'art', 'sport' and 'fair trade'

WSGfL - run by Elaine Minett and the west sussex team - a huge bank of FREE resources, including the innovative 'Mali' project can be downloaded here, lesson by lesson with all the flashcards and cut-up sentences, all for free. Look out too for the Languages detective series and the Quebec project, also Mira Miro.

http://rachelhawkes.typepad.com/ - Rachel Hawkes blog - quite simply, an amazing blog jam-packed with ideas and resources to use with KS3, 4 and 5. Rachel has transformed enthusiasm for languages in her own school, not just amongst students but also amongst parents and non-mfl staff too. Rachel also bookmarks her favourite videos on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/user/rachelhawkes60

Profesores de espanol is a ning (social network for teachers) and has great tips and networking opportunities - for example this list of mnemonic devices for Spanish grammar

Neil Jones, SSAT Lead practitioner, has an inspirational blog at http://mfljones.wordpress.com/ packed with ideas for being creative in langauge teaching, mostly in Spanish (as his classes this year are all Spanish) but also some French too.

Mon JT Quotidien http://www.monjtquotidien.com/ great for simplified news articles and videos in French.
